I recently bought some CD cases for my stamps, and they actually called me to inform that they were out of stock but had more on the way. They asked if I wanted to cancel or hang tight for the order. I chose to wait, and they showed up just a few weeks later. Really great service!

I'm bummed to share my recent issue with Hobby-Genki. I preordered and paid for my SHF Tobey Spiderman. They mentioned they’d prioritize those who paid for shipping, which I was cool with. A week later, they reached out asking if I wanted to pay for shipping, so I agreed and requested a shipping invoice. It’s been three days now, and I still haven’t heard back after three follow-ups (both via email and my account page). Their customer service used to be top-notch, but I’m not sure what’s up with them lately. I’ve been a customer for three years, and they’ve always been my go-to for Japanese toys. I really hope they can sort this out since I have a few more preorders with them. It’s a shame to see such a good seller going down the same path as “Nippon-Yasan”!

UPDATE: Hobby-Genki got in touch, and I was able to pay and request my order to be shipped. Their staff member, Guillaume, kindly explained their current workload and apologized for any trouble caused. They assured me they’d work on improving their service. Now, I’m just waiting for my order to ship, and I hope it arrives this week.

ULTIMATE UPDATE: My order arrived today in perfect condition, as usual. I’m really happy and satisfied. I guess I was just a bit too impatient these past few days since it was my first time using Hobby-Genki's private warehouse. They can still work on their customer service and the speed of their private warehouse when it comes to shipping items. But overall, Hobby-Genki is still a reliable online seller. Can’t wait for my SHF Andrew Garfield Spidey next. Keep it up, Hobby-Genki!

I made my purchase and sent in a tax exempt form. Right away, I got a call from a representative who mentioned that since I checked out as a guest, the order couldn't be tax exempt. He kindly offered to create an account for me and add the items. I got the link, completed my checkout (without tax!) and our order arrived the very next morning! We’re surely gonna order again down the line!
